Supported by Volunteers

Every stroll is always supported by at least two London Autism Group Charity volunteers. They lead the route, welcome you, answer questions and keep an eye on the group, so there's always a friendly face to turn to along the way.

ℹ️ What to expect on a stroll

A stroll is a relaxed, sociable walk at a gentle pace. You're welcome to join in as much or as little as you like, and to keep to yourself if that's what you need.

Our volunteers are friendly walk leaders and hosts, not carers. They'll welcome you, guide the route and answer questions β€” but they aren't able to provide personal care, one-to-one support, or supervision.

If you need that kind of support during the walk, you will need to bring someone with you who provides it β€” a carer, support worker, family member or friend. Please don't attend on your own if you need that level of support: we aren't equipped for it, and it isn't safe for you.

This applies to anyone attending who is under 18, has higher support needs, may be vulnerable, or may need active supervision β€” a parent, carer or support worker must come with them and stays responsible for them throughout.

Just tell us when you register so we can plan numbers and be ready for you both.

We'd love to hear how you found it. Your words help others in the community feel welcome to join.

Accessibility First

All our routes are designed to be wheelchair accessible and inclusive. We call them "strolls" because we want everyone to feel welcome β€” whether you walk, roll, or stroll at your own pace.
